Christos' Sweet Sugar-free Story

​Christos' Sweet Sugar-Free Story which won best impressions for its immediacy and sensitivity, tells the true story of Christos, who is diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes at the age of six.​

The author was inspired by Christos's charismatic personality and his mother, Vivi. The story is based on true events​​​​​​​​​​​ and  is part of The Children Talk to Us" series, in which Effie Panagopoulou tells the stories of children who face life with optimism, overcoming whatever obstacles cause them physical or mental health problems.

On Saturday, October 1, 2022, in Campion School, the inspiring event "Having Fun with Type 1" served as a celebration for book, which was held in collaboration with Bioiatriki, Greece's leading private healthcare provider.
